Tell us what you're trying to fill
We'll follow up within one business day. No obligation.
Built for every kind of healthcare organization
If you schedule clinical or support staff, MedFirst is built for you.
How it works
Three steps from open shift to filled shift.
Post your staffing need
Tell us the role, the shift and the location. Takes a few minutes and costs nothing to list.
Review credentialed professionals
You see applicants who have already completed credentialing on the platform — not unscreened résumés.
Book the professional you choose
You decide who works your shift and book them through MedFirst. You only pay when a booking is completed.
Why facilities are joining
Credentialing already done
Professionals complete credentialing before they can apply, so your team spends less time chasing paperwork.
Local to your market
We are concentrating on New Jersey first, so the professionals you see can realistically work your shifts.
No retainer, no lock-in
Listing your needs is free. There is no monthly minimum and no long-term commitment to participate.
If you run a nursing home or long-term care facility
New Jersey sets CNA-to-resident ratios by shift — 1 to 8 on days, 1 to 10 evenings, 1 to 14 overnight. Across a full day those work out to roughly 2.0 CNA hours per resident, and CMS publishes what every facility actually reports from its own payroll data.
It is public, and it is quarterly
Reported staffing hours come straight from payroll data and are published on Medicare Care Compare. Your number is visible to families, referral sources and the state.
Per diem is how the gap closes
Permanent hiring takes months. Per diem coverage is what most facilities use to hold their hours through call-outs, open positions and census swings.
Nothing to sign to find out
Posting a shift costs nothing. See which credentialed professionals are available near you before committing to anything.
These ratios apply to licensed nursing homes. MedFirst does not assess, monitor or determine any facility’s compliance status — staffing obligations and how they apply to your facility rest with you and your counsel.
Founding Facility Program
We're onboarding a first group of New Jersey healthcare organizations. Founding facilities help shape the platform and get priority access to professionals as the network grows.
Join as a Founding FacilityCommon questions
What does it cost to join?
Nothing to join and nothing to post your staffing needs. MedFirst charges a facility fee only when a booking is completed through the platform.
Are the professionals credentialed?
Professionals complete credentialing on MedFirst before they can apply to your openings. Your facility remains responsible for its own hiring, verification and compliance requirements.
What roles can I post?
Clinical, allied health and support roles — including RNs, LPN/LVNs, CNAs, home health aides, medical assistants, patient care technicians and therapists.
Which areas do you cover?
We are building density in New Jersey first, then expanding into New York, Pennsylvania and the wider Northeast based on demand.
Does MedFirst tell us whether we meet our staffing requirements?
No. MedFirst is a marketplace, not a compliance service. We do not assess, monitor or certify any facility’s staffing obligations — those rest with your facility and its counsel. Where we reference staffing figures, they come from published state requirements and publicly reported CMS data.
How quickly can we start?
Most facilities are set up within a few business days of their intro call.
